I got the idea for these awesome cupcake lollies from the Bakerella blog. I found them over 6 months ago and have been waiting for a special occasion to make them. I decided it would be my daughter's 8th birthday party. They were very easy and very tasty! The inside was Strawberry cake with Strawberry frosting mixed in. They almost had a chocolate covered Strawberry taste to them. I highly recommend them to anyone with a sweet tooth! Here is the link to her blog: http://bakerella.blogspot.com/

Trying out my new gear!
I am proud to say that I am the owner of a new Canon 40D! This camera has been my dream for the last 6 months. My darling husband purchased it for me and I've had it for a little over a week. We finally got some nice weather so I took the "baby" out for some shots. I can tell I'm going to LOVE this camera!!
Isn't she just too cute :)

My Busy Bee
I headed out this evening to take some pictures of me youngest DD in her Halloween costume. I thought it would be best to do it now and not chance the weather on the actual date. These are some that I've processed so far. She looks so cute and thinks that she needs to "fly" when she has on her wings. This means that Daddy has to lift her up into the air :)

Its Her Turn Now
Well of course big sister couldn't have a turn with the parasol without little sister getting her hands on it too :) These are a few from today. Doesn't she have the sweetest smile...so innocent (yeah right)!

Randy L. - My 1st Session - Sneaky Peak
These are from my 1st non-family session but they are family friends. I really appreciate them allowing me to do some senior pics for their son. I really hope that they enjoy them. He's a really great kid and very smart to boot. I think we were both a bit nervous, but I was able to get some genuine smiles out of him....just talk about Mac products :)

A girl and her parasol.
I just ordered and got in two parasols that I hope to start using in some sessions. I had my daughter try them out for me. She was more than happy to do that for me...imagine that! This is my turquoise colored parasol. I will be posting pictures of my white w/cherry blossoms next!

Important note for Firefox 3.0 users.
It has come to my attention that those browsing with Firefox 3.0 may have color quality issues due to some changes that were made by Mozilla. In order to see these photos in their true color there are a few adjustments you will need to make. Its simple and painless, I promise!
In your URL window you will need to type about:config
Then in the filter window type gfx
You will then see gfx.color_management.enabled
Double click that until it says "true". Then restart Firefox 3.
